Our metalwork is hand formed with the same tools and machines used 100 years ago.
All Etched Metal and Glass assemblies are Hand Made, signed Zentrum Studios, and serial numbered.
We use Hand Rolled Art Glass by Zentrum Glass Co. and other fine American Art Glass companies such as: Youghiogheny, Uroboros, Oceana, Chicago Art Glass, Bullseye.
Tool marks and slight imperfections are part of the process and evidence of hand working. As in the old days, all sharp edges are hand filed or sanded. All of our items are finished completely, including the bottoms, backs, and insides. Most are now final finished with hard Carnauba wax.
ZENTRUM STUDIOS® is producing a Copyrighted line of complimentary, contemporary, accessories such as clocks, lamps, tissue box covers, pencil cups, sticky note holders, humidors, and jewelry boxes, to closely match old Tiffany Studios desk sets in a variety of patina finishes.
They are unique in themselves and are NOT exact copies of anything
the Louis C. Tiffany factory ever made.
These are fantasy creations intended to fill a void with modern useful
items for the collectors that actually use their items.
Our new art is drawn at approximately 1/2 scale based on Tiffany Studios
Grapevine and Tiffany Studios Pine Needle, which captures much more detail
in smaller sized objects.
These new versions are NOT Tiffany Studios Grapevine or
Tiffany Studios Pine Needle.
We named them Grape ArborTM
and Pine BoughTM
to distinguish them from the old Tiffany Studios filigree.
Our delicately etched, pierced filigree, bookmark line combines 19th century styling with 21st century metal finishing technology. It's large size and elegant packaging make it perfect for all occasion gift giving.
